I'm looking to replace some of the parts in the cab of my '84.

The dome light cover is rotted out.

The passenger door lock has been replaced by a wing nut. It's doing a good job, but would like to sweeten it up a little. It can be any color, I'm sure I can paint it brown to match.

Thanks for looking, let me know if you can help with parts to sale or information.

Yeah, the salvage yard here in Vegas isn't what it used to be. I don't like the ones where you call someone and have them dig the parts out for you.

I heard of a pic a part across town I might check out.

Man, those things are TOUGH. I mean, real tough. In the two years I've searched the yards for one for any of my trucks 72' - 82' I've only found one good one. ONE. They're either missing or so brittle it literally crumbles while you're trying to remove it.

I finally broke down and forked out just under $40 (w/ shipping) for a brand new, un-used, old stock oem mirror - complete with plastic cover for my 72' - off of Ebay.

Just one of those anal purchases because I want my interior to be as stock as possible, and this way I know the light switch will work! :)

Although yours is a newer truck, it might be easier than trying to find one for a 70's pickup. But I can't imagine it being a whole lot easier.

I'll keep an eye out for you whenever I hit the yards (7 of them), which is like twice a week. :) The plastic pieces that screw onto the door locks are a bit easier to find.

    Awesome, thanks guys!

That's what happened to mine. Just so brittle it started snapping when I'd bump it and got worse when I tried to remove it for repair.

    What'd the dealer charge?

I saw a lens listing for $20 new, might take advantage of that.

I have family that work for Toyota dealers never paid full price. They charge me 10% over cost. I guess I can't complain.
