I have a 1986 2wd pickup that has been wrecked, most the parts are availabe aftermarket, the one piece that I have having trouble finding is the inner fender and when I say this I mean the metal inner fender that the battery, fuse box etc. sit on, I've heard it called a core support or rad support, I'm not sure what to call it:). Back to the original question does anyone know if the inner fender is the same on the 2wd and the 4wd trucks?

Should be the same thing, only thing that really changed was the outside. Find one at a junkyard and take the front clip

Thank you. I had checked the threads about the fender, switching fenders from the 2wd to the 4wd was a popular thing to do so I was thinking it should work. The bolt pattern seems like they should work as well so I think I may just have to give it a try. Thanks
