Hi guys i live in Redwood City, Ca. I used to build muscle cars but toyotas have been around forever. My dad got me interested in toyotas, he brought home an 86 extend cab turbo 5 speed one day and i loved the truck. I stumbled upon mine and have been doing little things to mine to make it cool. My first toyota was a supra and i thought it was going to be a step down going to a pick up but i love my little truck. Well thanx for reading!

Ive got no pics yet i want to paint it first, and i lowered it already and got tint and stereo out of the way, i want to leave it stock looking just clean. But i am planning to build a drift truck.

 

Go ahead and take some pics and post 'em up. We love seeing the progress everyone makes on their trucks.

ive been a big member of this board for a long time now, and i full heartedly second this statement. dont be ashamed of how it looks. we dont all start with pristine looking trucks. some have come very far though. read some of the build threads. pretty much everybody on here has one.

hahaha. im in seattleish. so 9pm-4am are about the hours im near a computer.

 

i put an alpine deck, replaced the stock 3s in the dash board. I have two fives in the extra cab walls, an amp under the seat powering a down-firing 10, and i have an amp under the drivers seat powering two subbd 8s. So 9 speakers all around and im adding another 10.

 

Nice! But why the 2 sizes of subs?

I did the two different sizes to get the most depth out of the bass. The 8s and 10s are hooked up to different amps so they are tuned differently. It sounds like a mini concert hall in my truck.

Guess I just never got the point of runnin 2 sizes of subs, especially ones that close in size. Not say you're wrong, though. Thats why I'm runnin a good midbass driver. You should check out my system. There are pics in my build thread, link is in my sig.
