Weather is crappy so no one is flying today which means i'm keeping this chair from floating away for a while. Whats everyone else up to today?

I take it you work at an airstrip. What do you do?

 

I guess i'm just going to file for unemployment untill I find another job.

 

Thats what I did.

 

Yea I figure I can get about 300 a week. The max is like 350 or something like that.

 

If you call unemployment they should be able to tell you.


What do you do now?

 

I'm working at the local airport right now.

 

They're in the middle of building a new airport tower for the Boise airport, something like 300 ft tall. Supposed to be one of the tallest towers in the northwest.

i live in seattle, im not gonna hack a car up just to drop the top down for 1 week a year. might get a 78 sunchaser tho, if i find a decent one, thats a 78 celica w/ targa top.




but the wagon will be getting the full leather treatment, complete with simulated hard wood floors. i know a guy that does custom veneers (sp?) so i can get fake wood thats black with chrome grain.


first day and im already doing stuff, installed new carpet n seat on a 60 sumthin ford truck, while working next to a 69 mustang vert, 68 impalla, and a couple other cars, i will make people guess what they are. they are from the 40's.

really diggin this job already

 

That sounds like an awesome job man. I wish I could find something like that around here. Most shops around here are full of douche bags and shody work lol
