soooo i wanna race somebodys truck preferably on a track of course (i dont need anymore tickets) but its gotta be a 22re with whatever mods i dont care. i just wanna see how my 22re stacks up against others. I know, i know racing is lame but i wanna see if all the work ive done made a big improvement or not!...whos down??
Im down!!!!!! my truck is almost back together ..... so real soon I will be down and Im only in san jose too
Yup hard to beat a yugo in a straight line race but toss it on an autocross track and watch the torque curve work. My first autocross event is July 30th, I'm stoked to finally get my junk on the track.
im super down to autocross it but ive never done it before? so straight line is what im stickin too. Only major mods are intake lcengineering 9lb flywheeel and exedy stage 1 clutch and a very very basic exhaust and little things here and there. Dux- what you got?
I autocrossed my first time this past sunday and won first in my class. It's very easy man, and it's well worth the fun. I gaurantee you that you'll enjoy autocrossing much more than drag racing will ever provide. Ask to walk around with someone who's done it before through the course.
lol well what I need to get is a damn flywheel ... lol how do you like it so far? -ported -header -32/36 -loss about 400-500 lbs -electric fan -other then that this one is my smog motor lol
The flywheel and clutch combo is awesome no clutch slip on launch at all. cool mine is fuel injected but you got the header, weight advantage, & welded diff on me. mine is lowered too and i got the E-fan too. Ive only dropped like maybe 150-200 lbs??
when i corner the outside of my suspension travels about 1" or whatever, by the time it finishes traveling, it touches the bumpstop and it acts kinda like a super tough sway bar when i corner lol
