Hydro-steering?

    I know, i know it's not leagal for the street BUT has anyone tried this? some 4WD guys use this but what about pure street use. Show trucks shure, but anyone crazy enough to use it on the street?

    I've seen alot of off-road guys using a hydro-assist steering setup in conjunction with the standard setup. When you get an off-road vehicle into a situation where the stock steering doesn't have enough power (and the driver can't muscle) to turn the wheels (like an embankment or rut) the hydro assist gives it the power and force to get it done. Can't remember how the two get used together. I would never run a hydro setup on a DD. Leaky hose, can't get home. Or worse, lose hydro. pressure at speed and hit something!
