Ok, been almost two years since I rebuilt my engine...This mofo is developing bad leaks, I have to add a quart almost every week!!..One seems to be coming from the back of the head where that plat is at, and the other I dont know, maybe the oil pump or oil pan..I don't think my engine should be leaking at all after two years..How long did yours leak if it did at all after a rebuild, and if its not leaking please let me know what kind of gaskets/seals you used..I have Rock on mine I believe

I used one of those cheap eBay gasket kit for my 20R. I used all of them except for the head gasket, for that I used a felpro instead, after a week It started to leak in the back too. I checked everything out and I noticed that the valve cover rear semi circular plug was a little loose. I removed the valve cover and used some RTV sealant to seal the gap and the problem was gone for a while, then the leak returned and I was going crazy trying to figure it out and then I finally found that the problem was the distributor "O" ring that was causing the problem and the oil was traveling on the edge of the head all the way to the back of the engine, all leaks are gone for now.
