Take the bolts that go to the body mounts out. Remove all the things on he firewall. There are fuel lines an brake lines that are bolted to the underside of the cab. It took me an a buddy about 8 hours to completely strip my single cab. I'm talkin it went from running to a rolling frame in tht time. But should only take 5 hrs at most and 3 buddies to lift it off

If it's stripped out makes it a little lighter. Good luck

One reason I have not bodied my truck yet, thats a TON of work just to get it off let alone do everything else.

If you got a buddy with u it's not tht bad. It took us awhile because whoever bagged it welded the bed on and lost all the fatory bed bolts so they used regular bolts an it was a pain in the ass to get them out tht an it being mid 90s tht day so we were takin breaks
