A buddy of mine e-mailed this to me today. A wolf shot by a Forest Ranger near McCall, ID (2 hours drive north of Boise). I e-mailed him back to get more info it. I'm having a hard time telling if its fake or not.

100% real. A wolf is nothing like a dog in size. They are HUGE! NatGeo had an episode on and it showed how big they really are.

100cm=3.28ft or just a hair over a yard tall

If you have a yard stick or a tape measure, put it up next to you and this is how tall then can get

i'm not doubting it's size, but the photo looks fake to me. the guys left leg has a slight shadow but you can't see anything for the wolf. and the area of his right leg and the tail looks really off.

still would be scary as hell to run into!
