High idle need help fast!!!!!

    1988 Toyota Pickup 4 speed Regular Cab
    so i my motor ran fine last night but this morning when i started it it was idling high but it does that then it goes down after it reaches temp. but it didnt go down and my charge light came on and my gas and temp gauge not working. need some help fast anybody experience this before

    I say give the electrical wiring a good check. hope something didn't burn out
