So I just brought home my first toyota today. I got a pretty reasonable deal on it and can't wait to tear in to it. Here are a couple pics for now to hold you over til I can get something done to it.

I am planning to bag it on 18's. I don't know yet if I am gonna z the frame or not. If I do it won't be til this winter probably. I am gonna raise the floor in the bed so I can still haul my chopper with it. (I think!)

Question: Can I run a wheel with a lip on it or no? All I see are toyotas with like fwd rims, and I am not crazy about that look. I am thinking either Centerline Smoothies, or some kinda Boyd Coddington wheel. Just wondering?

As far as paint and interior go, I am gonna paint it Black, maybe two tone with silver or charcoal. I am gonna flip the tail gate handle and shave the antenna. I am gonna do a smoothed dash painted black, and do the Seat and door panels in red leather, with a red carpet. Going for that classy look.

If anyone has any tips as far as bagging the front, or wheel fitment. Please let me know.

    Patrick

I don't remember the offset, but I have seen these trucks with rims with a small lip. I see alot with fwd rims that the spokes curve in towards the outside to give it a lip.

Hella kewl, you got your project, spend some time in our forums and well drag you so deep into customizing it, youll feel like you never wanna stop building. As for the wheels, I run +45 FWD rims and I love em, It was more of a " I love that look !" than just designating them as tuner or FWD rims for me . . . But, ultimately, the choice is yours and thankfully theres thousands of styles to choose from . . . CYA in the forums . . .
