And this is it now, bare frame with all new front suspension (everything, literally). I'll probably post pictures of ti at some point soon, because it doesnt look like I'll be showing it at Reso, even though it should be ready.

I spent like 3 days straight cleaning my motor, prepping it for paint. Soaked it in degreaser twice and pressure washed it, then went in with a wire brush, steel wool, and carb cleaner to get it pretty much spotless. Probably the ****tiest thing I've had to do on my truck so far. So last night my friend came over and helped me tear it down. The cylinder walls are perfect, so I'm just leaving it alone. My timing chain definitely needed replacing. So now its painted. I'll clean up all the aluminum tomorrow and see about putting it back together with the new timing chain, and the cam.

And it will get new freeze plugs soon too.

Frank is short for Frankenstein. Hence the screws in Frank. Theres probably 10-15 trucks compiled into one. I have body parts, suspension parts, brake parts and interior parts from a lot of different trucks.

Its not going to Reso. I'm not either. The house payment doubled here, and will be the same for the next 8-10 months, so my Reso money goes to that.

I'm liking the look of my motor with some accessories on it. I got all the black chrome stuff back today. I got to go pick it up even though they werent open. So I put some stuff on.

Still waiting on my water pump. But the smog pump and the Chevy alternator look sweet on there.

I like the contrast of the black chrome, what do you guys think?

Got everything back from powdercoat today. I brought them everything that got ****ed up by the other guy, and they blasted and coated it all for free. There wasnt an extra charge. And they did a damn good job. I'll be a customer for life.

Finally got the right third member gasket so I started putting the axle together. Got all new oil seals, even the pinion seal. All new hardware. New studs and nuts and bolts in everything.

Just need to put the brakes on and roll it under the frame to start assembly.
