Anything is possible with determination. People have swapped big v8's in these trucks, the Hemi is a few inches bigger than an LS though, so I'd assume you may have to do some chopping here and there or body lifting to get things to fit. Good luck!

I'm a bit late on this, but, which Toyota hemi you thinking of? 2/3TC or the 5V?

Hahaha that's how I feel about LS swaps..

IMHO, if you get a mopar hemi, get a 'eagle hemi' block, you'll get variable cam timing and you won't have to worry about valve seats dropping from the sky!! Lol

But I want all the power in a little truck, not a full size one.

I believe the Chevy 350 small block is a popular swap option. I think there are even bellhousing adapters available for the trans. Like Perk said, its been done and can be done with some fab work and determination. Best of luck!

1987 dodge ram 50, nice lil truck to put a hemi in. Chevy s10, great truck for an LS. Both about the size of a yota.

I mean the "smart" option is to sell the truck and buy something with more "power" but that's no fun.
