i just got some HID's and they are single beam 6000k 35w lights. i have the h4 conversion and i was wondering were to put the red and black wires on the stock connection? also is it possible to use these lights with out a relay? also they camwith ultra slim ballast and this little black box which i am guessing is the ignitor. could there be something wrong with my harness? because it flickers on when one halogen and one hid is hooked up but when both HID's are hooked up they dont even click on. but htey work when i hook them up to the battery. but both my halogens work fine. im kinda stumped on this one. which is negative and positive??? man this sucks they look reall nice and i cant use them!

    please help.

the red wire goes to your low beam wire the black wire is your ground and goes to the ground side of the plug in the reason your prob not getting them to come on when they are on the switch and they do when they are on the battery is because at the battery it is getting a full 12 volts at the plug in you may not be getttin a full 12 volts
the ballasts need to have 12 volts going to them or else they cant produce enough voltage to ignite the bulb the the hids first come on it takes close to 20000 volts to ignite the bulb or atleast that is how the ones in my civic is i bought mine off ebay and they came with a bad ballast and i had to call the seller and get him to replace it some of those kits are just junk the first ballasts they sent me were xentec and they were **** i got my money back and bought a differnt set

what i meant is like wire it in the harness even though they are single xenon and not bi-xenon. i dont have state inspection so its all good.

the black wire is the ground and plug the red wire into one of the red or white wires

what bulb did you order i know my civic is 9003 h4

but even if you do have them wired correctly and you dont have 12 volts going to the headlight plug in they wont ignite so make sure you have 12 volts goin to it before you return it
