so I just rebuilt my motor on my 88 22r it starts good idle is good everything didn't get to actually drive the truck till just 30 mins ago took it around the block and taking off it sputter and sluggish don't know what it can be anyone have some input plz?
Was the timing good?Zero out the main and put the cam sprocket mark a butt hair to the left of the mark on top.
Holy run-on sentence! Have you checked the timing? With the jumper in the data connector? There are few other things that can cause hesitation. But timing would be my first guess.

When looking at the dizzy from drivers side you spin it counter clockwise. Set it at 10*ish btdc and see how it is
Hmm. Just reread the beginning of the thread. The 22r may not need the jumper installed in the check connector.... Anyone else?
