OK so today I went to start my runner an nothing happened. Its something to do with the starter because its not even clicking or anything. Everything else turns on an gets power. Before the swap it ran fine. In the fuse box there's the starter solenoid or relay thing its not there an I'm thinking that's what my problem is but I don't remember every pulling tht out
jump the starter with the key in the on pos. and see if that works for you ...( get a flat head and bridge the + and the relay post ) if that works then you have a relay out somewhere you can just put a starter button on if you want good luck bro
Also maybe check to see if there is a wire grounding/shorting out somewhere. I had a similar issue on my suburban a few months ago and a wire had chaffed and was shorting on the firewall. once I fixed the wire the probelm went away.
I know I'm missing the starter relay just don't understand where it went or who took it out haha went to picknpull got the relay which was a pain in the ass because I only found 2 yotas tht actually had it in the fuse box like mine an one didn't have the relay but I got tht an ill see if tht fixes it
I also noticed the truck starts in the on possition which it didn't do before with or without the relay an only starts if I put a black wire with a white stripe in this see pic below.
