I’m a newbie. What’s my offset? Any pointers, tips or recommendations?

just purchased this truck and I’d like to lower it and get new tires/wheels.

Use the search function. Look thru the 89-95 section

The offset changes depending on the wheel you use. Using the search function will lead you to using tools such as willtheyfit.com to get a better understanding of what you need vs want. Welcome, plenty of info read up!

Gotcha. Thanks man. Quick question, any recommendations for wheels/tires when I’m completely stock?

Head to the junkyard and mess around with 90s Ford/Lincoln wheels. A lot of guys do mustang/explorer options, others go for the crown Vic/grand marquis mesh wheels.. they all vary between 15-17 inch in diameter and around 7-9in in width.. just to name a few

Search function leads to less new threads and the demise of the forum……..just sayin.

you can use google, just type your key words, then type site:toyotaminis.com and it will give you better resuls, all from toyotaminis.com content.

We just get sick and tired of telling everyone they need blocks or springs in the rear, and t-bars or spindles up front, or airbag it. For wheels, look up the stock setup on yours, and compare them to others on willtheyfit.com, then go out to your truck with a measuring tape.

35 threads asking how to do something thats been done since the 90's clutters up the boards with unnecessary posts.

no one wants to do research and expect to just have the answers handed to them. Gets old and repetitive

Ya that’s what I did, but I also joined here hoping for some help if I need it, from some like-minded people. If there was a thread on the basics of lowering just make it a sticky and refer people to it when they ask, but seeing people ask questions and the threads get buried or ignored is kinda depressing. I like forums and hate Facebook, etc…so I try to answe when I can, and not just tell people to search. I mean no offence.
