well i got my clear corners today and i noticed they dont have the two mounting studs that go into the grill new ones have plastic tabs can i still use my grill? cause its only 1 month old

Yes, you can use the 4wd corners with the 2wd grille. Did someone cut the studs off?

 

you will need 4wd corners to work with your stock grille the 4runner corners don't have the pins that mate to your grille the 4runner ones slide in to the grille from the front

 

damn i just got the corners today.. any other way to make then work?

 

can i get a 4runner grill and use my headlights so i can use the new corners? or do i have to change headlights with grill

so all i need is a 4wd grill ? and i can use the runner corners with the tabs? when i ordered the fenders and lights i told them for a 1993 4runner will every thing else work?

I think I misread your original post. 4wd corners should work with a 2wd grille. 4wd & 4Runner corners will work with either a 4wd or 4Runner grille. But, pickup headlights will not work with '92-'95 4Runner grille. Hope that clears things.

Someone might correct me on this.

 

i think that helps. i want to use the parts i just got. just need to make sure that i need a 4wd grill to make the 4runner markers work
now next question 3 piece or one will both work?
and 4runner fenders same as 4wd?

 

The 4wd grille that I have (in avatar) is a 3 piece. As far as the fenders, I believe they're the same. Mine came off a '91 pickup.

 

so your corners have the plastic hooks and not the studs for the grill?

 

Mine have studs.

 

got ya i just ordered new corners again and found a 4runner front end complete with lights for $85 on craigslist, guess i have no luck....lol
if anybody around eugene wants a pair of clear corners for a 2wd i will have a pair in a week only 2 months old
