Whats up everybody. I joined here aswell as other toyota forums to do research and to see everyone's projects. My truck, is a 1983 pick up 2wd 5 speed and love it. Unfortunately it was recently stolen. They managed to take my SSR's, stereo, speakers and brand new battery. I was extremely angry when i noticed it missing. Fortunately the LAPD was able to find it on bricks lol and everything else intact. Ny search for new wheels will come 2011. Might steer towards some 16" bbs's or something moderate. This pic is with the ssr kakimoto 8+37 225-40-17 fronts, 9+37 275-35-17. Its still lowered on 3inch blocks and tweaked torsion bars
Im glad you got your truck back intact. I just was thinking that my 82 is sitting in the garage waiting on the last few suspension work so I can get it done. Your truck has inspired me to finish it faster! I knew these trucks would look sic with 17s and lowered. If your truck looks too sic at that drop I just cant wait to have mine on 17s and a 6/8 drop!
Welcome to the site, your truck looks great, I've got a soft spot for 82/83's, my favorite body style What are your plans? Here's my 82, a few mods/updates coming up, but waiting for the weather to clear up before I take it out of the garage. Can't wait to see your progress!
Thanks guys. Im saving money get it some fresh paint. But for now its being rattle canned to prevent any rust on the body. I'll make a thread once its finished. The new wheel set up is 16" Rays tomz c7's 8+30 all around.
