Finally decided to start on my fathers 87/88 Toyota pickup. I can't remember exactly what year it is but I know I have a long road ahead of me. He was a Master Toyota Tech and drove this truck everyday before he past away in 1998. I drove it for a short time while buidling my Supra. My brother then drove it while building his Supra. He can kill anything and he killed the 22R. It has been sitting for over 10 years and was luckily at my grandma's house when the tornados destroyed my home town in Alabama a few years ago. I lost two Supras that day, but luckily not my mom or grandma. I have built about anything that goes fast and worked with my father for several years. Let me know if you are in the area and ever need help. I am about to pick up the truck and pull the drivetrain to slide in a 2J. I am not building a "slammed" mini but a little performance toy. The 2J will get more love later when other items of the truck are taken care of. I will start a Build Thread as soon as I start. I had a tire blow on my trailer this weekend so it gets attention first.
Welcome neighbor. Got your message . Throw those teg parts on Craigslist I still see a gang of Hondas running around Shelby county . They should sale pretty quick
Welcome to TM sorry for your losses, glad you see the positive in hard times. Sounds like your gonna build a little killer can't wait to see your progress on the truck as it comes along.
Picked up the 2j and W58 this past Saturday. I will be going to bring the truck back to the shop next weekend and then the fun will begin.
