Greeting from Finland! New here and beginner with Hilux. My father had 1981 Hilux with 2.4D somewhere between 1988-1991. That was my first experience driving by my self. I was about 10 years then! I don't know why but Hilux has been very interesting choise for me. I have old GSX-R Suzuki and I need some hauling equipment for that. Also every day commuter for me is needed. Now I finally had a good situation to buy second car for our family. Here she is: Year 1989 Hilux Xrta Cab with 1,8 liter 2Y engine. One owner and only 48t km. It's like jump back to the nineties! Interior is like brand new. There hasn't been radio. Like EVER! I just ordered Cragar Soft 8 15x7 ET0 wheels for my old 205/70-15 tires. That is for winter time, maybe another set of those in 15x8 for next summer. I have been looking for Belltech sets also... Lowering 3/3 inch would be nice. Tomorrow I'll make new exhaust. Original exhaust is leaking and it sounds bad. I'm using universal 2" pipes and mufflers to build up something interesting. You have nice and informative forum here! Thanks!
