Hello All! Some of you might remember that I posted a wanted ad on here a while back looking for a yota with an auto trans. Well, I didn't want you guys to think I was just here to harvest info and take off, cause that's not the case. Not long after I posted the ad I found a real clean '83 long bed in CA so the road trip was planned and I was off. Here's what I found: '83 LB, 22R and 79k original miles! Shes a strong runner, real clean and damn fun to cruise around in. Great for hauling stuff. My car wasn't too happy about being used as a truck for so long so, I needed a hauler. I love unique vehicles so I couldn't buy a plain white random truck. The camper shell has proven useful so I probably will keep it on. (I know the truck would look way better without it.) I don't have any mods planned yet. I sort of hope the mod sickness doesn't get started on this one, I have way too many unfinished projects. Although the early front end conversion does sound tempting. Heres a shot:

Glad you all like my truck. I've only had it for a short time and it's been loads of fun. Gets a lot of looks going down the road. I still can't quite make up my mind as far as the camper goes. It would look waaayy better without it, but maybe loose some character? (and of course function. Don't want people snagging stuff outta the bed.) What do you guys think? I have been reading through the build threads, lots of cool trucks on here. Great work guys!
