i have a couple of questions. I am the lucky 2nd owner of a 76 toyota, when i first got it the od read 72k. Im ready to start personalize it first i want to lower it ive heard of a few methods , but eventually i want to bag it so can i just get two bags and do some fab work set my ride height and leave it by closing some on/off valves or do i need to dump air each night?

You can use schrader valves to control air pressure in the bags and thus control your ride height without an on-board air source.

As long as there are no leaks you can leave it like that nearly indefinitely. You would not need to air it down at night.

Correct! I keep a set of schraders in my truck just incase I have a massive failure out on the road.

    great help, thanks

thanks again for all who helped, by going this route i can build my air ride as time and money permits. the lack of lowering kits on the market for early model pick-ups this is may be a low cost option to lower the front of your vehicle and have a good ride. the best of both worlds
