Heater control valve

    1975 Toyota Hi-Lux SR5
    My 1975 toyota hilux has a leak in the heater control valve. no one sales the thing and I cant find one on ebay. Anyone have a valve they would like to sale or maybe have a idea on how to fix it? :shrug:

    is it inside the heater core under the dash or the one on the heater hose under the hood? i have a spare heater box i could take a look at more closely.

    For the time being just block it off till you can find a replacement.

    I had to do this in my 72' Wagon. Luckily, prior to purchasing my wagon, I had found the same model wagon in the yards. Ironically the one in the yard had a cleaner valve than the one in my wagon.

    I've yet to have an issue in any of the trucks I've owned. When you get a chance post up pics of the bad valve. I'll keep an eye out for one in the yards.
