    I was told hedman headers are bad, am i wrong?

    That's the only shorty type header I found. Looking for something more solid and reliable than the stock manifold, but keeps the noise down a bit, which is why I am shying away from a full length header.

    anyone know of any others out there?

    There a good price. Get'em for know until somthing better comes along. Checked summit and pace, nothing in shorties

    I've used a "Hedman" for about 4 years now and have had no problems. At around $55.00 they are fairly cheap easy to install and have excellent clearance. The only problem is you will loose a bit of low end torque but, they sing on the upper end! The only problem I've had in the 4 years is I've had to tighten the header bolts once.

    Summit has hooker headers for about the same price.ive ran headmans for awile to then tryed hookers then end up with a set of these: 1-5/8 l.c. Pros

    beautiful truck man n nice setup!
    this truck always makes me turn my head when i pass by it!

    and ive never really heard bad remarks on hedman..

    i ran Headman header since 2004 and there still in my truck. nothing wrong yet..........alot of clearance too. sounds and feels pretty beasty to me.
