That is a Pace Setter header. Stay away from them. They are made out of very cheap thin metal. Buy a Downey or an LC Engineering one.

ok so basicly the only real options are downy, Doug Thorley, or LC? or do they sell like a header kit that u can build like they do for small block chevy's?

and the best place to get EGR Block off plates is LC?

and i guess it dosen't have to be non emissions i could make it that way i work in a welding shop

if you work in a welding shop, you could make your own header with half a kit from a 350. just need to make the flange.

    LC resells headers... mostly DT's.

they have dinky lil flanges, welds suck. and they arnt any better flowing then the stock manifold.

in fact i threw mine away cuz it devolped a leak in the center of the collector after a few years. switched to the late 22r manifold (tri-y type) and noticed a power boost, and the eng is much happier at higher revs.

ANY header is not a upgrade.

Agree!! I had one on my 88 Toyota with the 22R & from the start it did nothing but leak & as for performance it did nothing to help out. Pay more for a good header & youll be alot happier in the end.

weber makes awsome carbs for 20rs as for the header i had a hooker header on my 20r dont see why they wouldnt make one for the 22r of you can stick a 20r head on your 22r and make it have a better compression ratio and more hp plus u can get the hooker header for it

I have a Thorley Header. It's pretty nice, but it warped pretty bad right off the bat. I keep tightening it, usually once a month, and the exhaust leak gets a little better. But it just keeps coming back. I really need to resurface it. But next time I will probably try an LC header after Thorley jerked me around after sending the wrong header the first time. That, or make my own with a 1/2" flange.

I have a stock 78 carb in my garage. I bought it rebuilt, then bought a Weber.
