Hafa Adai! Here's my '82 island stylin project. Enjoy! First couple of mods after i got it home: 3" drop, lower profile tires, chrome trim rings, painted mirros/cab vents, painted front bumper... Oh and the old school pioneer antenna! Added some bling, bling... Chrome front end package, orielly mirrors, junk yard cab vents, universal mud flaps, junk yard side marker lights from an Isuzu impulse, solid back glass... *this is how she currently sits with the exception of tinted windows fro the summer heat* Here's a night shot with some Mustang bullit wheels... More pics later.... God bless!
very nice, is there anyway to pull the mustang emblem of the center of the wheel? maybe paste on a toyota emblem
Very nice looking mini, Luv the rims, all except for the emblems, YUK - Ford bad : ) ! Nice clean looking ride with tons of potential, another ride in OH so many good ones to follow up on! Welcome to toyotaminis man!
Thanks for the welcome and comments! The wheels are factory mustang bullits 17x8 and are wrapped with 215/45-17's up front and 245/45-17's out back. Kinda gave it that beefy staggered look... I did paint over the ford emblem with the old school Toyota "daimond T" logo but, no pics of that. The pics were from the first night I put them on. No future plans right now due to the shortage of funds...*lol If anything a new paint job and body work to take care of some minor rust spots will be first on the list... Keeping it plain and simple but with a little something under the hood when I need it... More pics for your veiwing pleasure...
And last but not least some engine shots... Please don't mind the dirty bay, that will be taken care of later. I need the truck running to get to work... Spec sheet: Dual mikuni 44phh carbs (I had them since 2001) Doug thorley headers (the best in the business for the 22r!) Mikuni 280/.413 cam (mild mid range cam 2000-4000 power band) MSD 6AL / Blaster 2 / MSD wires 2-1/2 Exhaust piping mated to a chambered Thrush muffler (no cat) Swapmeet 16" Electric fan (currently disconnected, using factory clutch fan) New Alternator/Voltage regulator Factory 26 year old bottom end (mileage unkown < long story) I think that's it! Simple but effective...
