alright, mu base start was an old 83 pickup sitting in a pasture somewhere an old biker sold me. i bought an engine off a fellow community member here who told me of this forum. thanks B.Y.E. had i known beforehand i would have done a more comprehensive build thread. but i will just start from here. stripped all drivetrain parts out besides diff and got to work. has full ignition system supplied via petronix ignitor in a celica points distributor signaling an msd 6 al. used an electric fuel pump from a nissan 720 mounted inline underneath the truck near the tank. i'll take pics of that soon too. i have it sittin on 17 in 09 mustang wheels and am in desperate need of an exhaust system as soon as funding arises. a paint job is on the horizon eventually too. interior is crrently junk but its a work in progress so eh. for now i'll shut up till i think of more but here are some pics. thanks everyone.

well i plan on straightening all the dings dents etc. rhino liner the bed and interior floor. then debating a good paintjob or staying rugged. i just really have been enjoying it. i am thinkina 2.5 in exhaust the whole way back and then a decent flow but kinda quiet muffler. still debating header design i want. all and all i am pleased so far. no lowering because it is at a fantastic height for my best friend who is in a wheelchair which is what initially drove me to mini truckin. coupe like characteristics with ample storage.

    Optmally you'd want a 2.25" exhaust.
I'm currently running a magnaflow 2.25" muffler, it enters offset and exits offset. With a gutted cat, the setup is going to be louder than factory, but is a very deep toned ( from my pov). So if you feel like going that way, there's an option for you. I feel that the magnaflow likes to filter out the higher tones, even though it's a straight through design. A fellow member has. Resonator in his setup, said it helps alot with the sound.
