Being its a 2wd I don't see a problem either, should snap/screw right in. When I decided to put a chrome 4x4 grill on the truck instead of the 2wd, for the 82/83 I prefer the 4x4, I think the 2wd grill is too busy looking, anyway, I thought it would snap/screw right in, it did except the bottem portion snap/screw tubes were actually approx 1/2 longer than the 2wd there for it stuck out of the bottem 1/2" and did not sit flush, so I had to cut the tubes down 1/2" loosing my snap lock pieces, but I just drilled a small hole in the locking plastic peice that sits behind it and ran a screw through it, sits flush and tight now, not big deal just a little modifying to do.

So if there is any modifying it should be minimul. Post a picture when your done.

yea my 4runner grille had very minimal modifying to do, i was over thinking stuff n tried moddifying wut didnt need to be and ended up knicking the radiator, so after i had to buy a new radiator, i realized that the grille installations were really easy... just cut a few tabs here n there n ur good... if u even have to cut the tabs

the 2wd and the 4wd grilles are interchangable on the 89-95 trucks. Yes it will fit.

You should change the headlights the same time you change the grill. to change the headlight its only 4 bolts.

He said something about H4 conversion. Can he just change the bulbs? I thought if it was the wrong housing you have to change the housing too? I have 9006 bulbs in my truck.

i did the h4 conversion. its just like changing the stupid sealed beam lights. i had to take the whole front end off to do it. it's not a big deal just time consuming i guess. good luck and that the grille im getting today. heres a pic of mine with hids. i ordered mine headlights from ebay. i couldnt find ones for my truck so i got the older mr2 head lights. the are all 7x6 i think
