Man.... This topic needs a sticky! I've been reading for about an hour and have figured out a bunch, but still have questions. I've got a 94 2wd. Gonna put 4wd fenders on it. A friend of mine gave me what he said are 4wd headlight bezels. Now almost all grills I've seen are 1 piece. Are 4wd 2 piece? He said he's got the grill to match, he just has to dig it out. He also gave me a 4 runner grill. I was all excited to do the four runner swap untill I priced headlights.
Yah there are something like 8 combos they put on these trucks from 89-94 2x and 4x. They came off different models in different years. There is a thread I started when I first got on this forum and there was a ton of options with actual years and models posted in the pics for the different styles. Ebay has tons of 4 runner headlight for like dirt cheap (my opinion) The 4runner front end looks incredible on our year models. Do it!!
