    Hello everyone, I have a hilux double cabin, year 1980, 12R gasoline engine, is there any member of the forum with the same engine in your truck? Cheers

    1980 diesel
    I've got a couple of single cabs both 1980, one has an L engine which is diesel the other has an 18r that has been de-smogged and fuel injected. Its also been shortened 400mm.

    I read your entire rat rod instructable! Wow that project looks great and I really like the way u shortened the already small truck to make it smaller. I can’t wait to see what engine u are going to drop in next. Very impressive that you put a Ford falcon fuel injection on it and it works!!

    Thanks, I've recently pulled out the Hilux seats and put in Peugeot seats. They are so much better.
