Finally picked up my project truck for the next while and thought I'd share. Its been my grandpa's farm truck since new so it has 25 years of farmer fixes for me to take care of. Have pretty basic plans to turn it into a static dropped daily driver for the summer. Day I picked it up, it hadn't really moved in 5 years. With some new gas and starting fluid it fired right up. I have cleaned it up since then, cabs in decent shape but the main body line on the box is rusted through in a lot of spots. Maybe turn it into a flat bed down the road. Static drop plans are pretty straight forward. Beltech blocks, drop leafs and a small notch in the back. Beltech spindals, BJ flip and crank the torsions a bit in the front. Air shocks all around with a small tank and compressor as my Honda XR600R will probably get rides on it every now and again. Motor plans are basic too, get it cleaned up and reliable. Weber 32/36 with a manual choke, currently the factory electric choke is broken and I'm all for simplicity. New exhaust and maybe headers pending price. Shipping to Canada sucks and there isn't much for distributors here that carry the parts I'll be after. Build will be slow for the first month or two as I order and find parts so I can tear it all apart in the new year. I've been on the forum for several months and your guys' posts have answered most of my questions but I'm sure I'll run into a few along the way...
