Hey guys! I got my first 87 22R Toyota Pickup std bed! I've had an itch for these old yotas since grade school!! I bought the truck last week from a friend at work, it was his uncles truck who purchased it back in 87. Oooh yeah 1 owner with 135K original miles on the thing!! It's a little rough on the bed but thats it! I'm still tryin to decide if I wanna redo the bed but of course it's rusted though at the lines and I'd really rather not have to bondo or fiberglass if I don't have to! I've been on 2 wheels for awhile "KAWBOY BABY" and couldn't pass up the chance to finally knock this truck off of my top 10 cars/trucks to own in my life someday list!! Love the truck, I've literaly already built the truck on paper and I can't wait to get started!!! Gonna start a build thread ASAP cause I've already almost stripped her down to restore the frame even tho it's still in good shape, but hey this is my first ground up project so I'm goin all the way!! Not too shabby looking for an older one. Truck is pretty cool too lol. What's the plans for it? And welcome to Toyota ownership. You'll never want to own another brand after this lol.
