Here is a stock shot. before being put on masked up ready for paint after they are put on to bad the sun was setting. I haven't driven with them yet but I'm not liking the amber blubs. And i want to smoke the lower lens, I'll have to wait on that to find a store that carries nite shades, and my taillights arrive. the rear speakers I made mention of in another post.
If you want . . . If you want some hella good stuff for tinting tailights or lenses, this stuff is awesome, its elastic, thick and very durable, I used it on my stock taillights before I bought euro's and it was VERY easy to install, I had no bubbles on both lenses my first time using it, only thing I can pass along or to help is to cut or sand down the raised lettering on the lenses and clean them up and then your good to go ( very sticky stuff & it can be semi-easily removed unlike window tint and spray paint ), they have it in light smoke and dark smoke and red. To clean it up, you treat it as you would any vinyl product. http://www.rvinyl.com/wrapkits/vinyl/smokedtaillights.htm L o w N l o u d
i am sooo pissed.. i ordered clear corners from ebay and the dumb seller sent me clear turn signals instead!! then i sent it back and they sent me clear turn signals again!! i have waited over a month and its taking wayyy to long to get them... grrrrr....
Nice job on the painting, looks good. Remember these trucks are always a work in progress........take your time and do what you can with the money you got!!! When you get to your speakers/subs, this is what I have.....Sounds great!
