also be careful taking the hub off. the inner seal is easy to mess up. but while your at it they are only a couple bucks to replace if you choose.
If lots of miles, throw some new wheel bearings in also !! And think about better rotors than stock,Power Slot or drilled/slotted Check out brakeplanet.com,good prices & fast delivery .
Got one off yesterday. It was easy!!!!! Going with slotted/drilled rotors w/ pads and SS lines. Truck Action: Thanks I'll get some new wheel bearings.
I run Goodridge stainless brake lines & the front pads are PRD ( I think)! Any high end pads will be good & the lines you can order from any speed shop ,or good auto supply!
you can actually go to a industrial hose place and have them make you some, they are much cheaper and you get the same thing..I did that on my bike. The Galfer SS lines were like $150 i had some made for $50
I'll give them a call today. Place my order for drilled/slotted rotors today. Hope they come out okay. Should be ready in 3-4 days.
Does Hawk make anything for our trucks? I've called their dealers and they don't have anything for the truck. What's everyone else running? I've only seen POSI Quiet ceramic crap. That's like running OEM stuff.
