Ok, I have the 22RE with the 5 sp. If I get above 70 mph it revs high, not sure how high cause I don't have a tach. I would like to be able to get between 80-90 mph without reving too high. So when I go on road trips to shows or whatever.

What is the gear ratio in my truck or how can I look it up? What kinda gears do I need? Is there anything else I need to do to it? Where can I get everything?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

you have 4:10's like my truck and you are turning quite a few rpm (I think 2600-2800) rpm with stock tires......

you could go with a higher ratio like a 3:73 or something but I have no idea where you could find them

also this will move your truck out of the power band a little making it more difficult to accelerate on hills etc so you would have to down shift thereby negating the benefits

you could also swap to a supra tranny which has higher ratios in every gear

There should be a build plate on your door jam.. it should give trans code and diff and just decode it with this link http://www.brian894x4.com/Gearratiosanddiffs.html... but this only helps if you don't have a replaced Junk yard rear end like me ><

Dont hold me to this but i believe the V6 2wd as well, of your same year truck had a lower geared Diff. All you would have to do is change the rearend.
