Gday guys my names josh im from sydney, australia. represent ground level minitrucks and customs. i have a 91 extra cab hilux shaved and bagged all round running dakota and an AVS 9 switch box. I have a raised bed floor and rolling on whitewalls and moon caps. Lots more planned including Z notch, BD to the sills, boost, and custom front and rear end heres couple of pics of my baby
thats pretty awesome! i like the style youre going for. i notice you shaved the seams around the back window. nice touch i wish i saw more often.
G'Day! Nice truck, love the tires/hubcaps and the raised bed. As long as we're asking for trucks from Down Under...I'd LOVE an old Holden! James
Welcome to the site! Nice looking truck! So I guess everything is backwards down under huh? The water when you flush the toilet goes the opposite way and so do windshield wipers. LOL.
Windshield wipers is actually a funny thing...when I spent some time down under, it was easy to drive on the wrong side of the car, and the wrong side of the road (ok, "wrong" is a matter of perspective) BUT... I couldn't get used to the turn signals and the wipers being on opposite sides of the steering column. Almost every time I turned, I turned on the wipers instead of the turn signals! This was a bit annoying, but after a while I could tell other drivers who were on the "wrong side" too...because they would turn on their wipers at every turn, just like me!
welcome to the site...I think Ive seen your truck over on http://downundertruckin.com before, very nice!
thanks for all the nice comments guys! my rear tubs used to be a 44gal drum haha james, heres a nice old holden for you, its an EK bagged all round and satin purple its a friends car. are your indicators/wipers on opposite sides to ours? I thought it was only euro cars that were like that! my mum (mom to you guys haha) has an astra, which i think is an opel in the states, that has the same arrangement and i get so confused when i drive that! Haha i remember being in the states ang going to hop in the passenger seat and finding a steering wheel.. u guys are weird smctoy yeah im on DUT a lot ive seen you there and i used to see you on yotascene when i was on there a while back
Super neat Holden...and now that you mention it, I remember walking up the to the "drivers side" wen Down Under to get into cars and being surprised to *not* find a steering wheel there! It's a little shocking/disturbing when it happens. I bought a Jeep DJ5 (old US Postal Jeep) when I got back to the states...right hand drive, got quite used to getting in on that side (but the signals/wipers were in the right place)...but often my passenger would walk to the same side as me, thinking I was going to open the door for them! Once again...G'Day!
