ok, i have acquired a gauge cluster, i'm not really sure what model this came from, but i will give details the best i can remember or display. i THINK this came from a 87 Toyota ext cab, 4wd, turbo truck. The guy i got it from sold me parts from one, i assume this cluster came from it also. The speedo is cable driven, and here are pics of the cluster, make offer.
[email protected] also before you get this cluster, are you sure the oil press is messed up on yours? could be bad wiring to it and nothing wrong with yours at all, then when you hook this one up, same problem.
cluster didn't come with this truck. It was originally a non tack cluster. I bought the sending unit for a gauge and swapped it when I put the cluster in. The gauge sits in the middle. It stays in the same place, even if the truck is running or not. Im really not sure how to check the wiring. I just figured some one had put it in a non tack truck and didn't change the sending unit and messed it up.
ok, well in my integra i have a autometer aftermarket oil pressure gauge, it works based on resistive load. 100 psi ~ 220 ohms, 0 psi ~ about 20 ohms. So i would imagine most oil press gauges work the same, i'm not sure about diagnosing a oem toyota cluster though. Anyways to the point, if you want it its more than yours, just saying i don't wanna have to take it back if its not your cluster that is messed up.
I wont b trying to sale it back to you. I may relist it after I swap the gauge, but I would not expect you to take it back.
ok cool, i'm looking for a box right now to ship it in, i will ship it tomorrow or wednesday and pm you tracking number.
