My truck started acting weird a few days ago. It was sometimes tough to start and would bog and almost stall from time to time. The other day I was driving down the highway and the engine shut off. I tried getting it to start for a good 30 minutes and just when I was about to give up it started. I made it to about 2 blocks away from my house and it stalled again this time with no luck at restarting it. We pushed it into my garage from there. Anyway long story short after some tinkering I pulled my fuel line off about a foot away from the gas tank and turned it over. No fuel came out witch leads me to believe that my fuel pump is shot. Just wondering if there could be anything I am overlooking. I heard of people boosting their fuel pumps or something to get them restarted. Any advice would be great thanks.
Run a power and a ground straight to it, if fuel comes out the line, your golden, if not your pumps ****ed
While this is a good place to start, if nothing is coming out at the pump, the filter will have nothing to do with it. Now if you are referring to the in tank sock than maybe....
