Any recommendations on lowering shocks for a 79 ?

 

Now what exactly are you trying to achieve. I dont think anyone totally knows what you mean.

 

Trying to lower my truck but i heard people use different types of methods. So i want to lower with shocks and torsion bar

 

You probably want to drop the truck before you look into shocks. Your probably got to have to change the mounting location.

 

Depending on how low you go the OE shocks will be ok, itl ride like crap but theyll still work. If you get the point where the shocks are bottomed out them you may want to look into relocating
