i say HELL NO!!!! your 2wd sheet metal is just fine nice and straight no dents. i hate when people put 4x4 metal on 2wd trucks! please dont do it!
ya i guess you guys are right i think it would look cool but it would be like jumping on the band wagon
i agree it looks out of place, unless you add the flare to the bed as well.. but it's your truck, so you should choose it based on your opinion
well, i would go for it unless you bag it. and find an offset that fits into that lip nicely without a ton of space. and add the plastic 4wd rear flares, its just a few holes to drill. and jd has a set. lol. but if you wanna have some steelies or something that sucks way in, i saw keep the stock fenders.
keep it 2wd fenders for now. if anything gets damaged later on, just grab 4wd fenders. only reason i did it for mine was the 4wd flare and matching the bed.
This is my buddy's truck with 4x4 fenders on the front. You do get some more turning space out of them when you get that low (reason I can't go much lower) but it just kinda sticks out there in my opinion.
put it this way, if you dont have the wider stance to fill in the gap and utilize the extra steering clearance correctly, it'll look weird. LIKE MY TRUCK. I have that fugly horizontal wheel to fender gap. if his had a wider stance to fill in the fenders a bit more, it'll look good.
