Do you guys know if there are any front brake upgrades I can do that bolt right up. like the v6 version of my truck, are the rotors or calipers bigger with more pistons in the caliper? Or are there any other options I have that dont cost 500-600 dollars. I would like a bolt up application that I can buy I the local napa.

    Thanks guys,
    Rodney

the mkIII supra spindles fit the trucks. the spud is about 1" forward of the trucks spud, and the tierod is different. i think if you got the supra outer tierod, you could screw it into the inner truck tierod and make it work. i have yet to try the supra tierod yet though. i bought the complete assemblies at a junkyard for $80.

Very nice bud. And all you have to mainly switch out are the supra mk3 knuckles? along with the tie rod fix with rotors and calipers

all you need is the complete assembly (knuckle, rotors, calipers, etc), and they'll bolt to your trucks balljoints.

you could actually drill the tierod hole on the knuckle out to fit the stock truck tierod if you have the right tapered reamer. i think speedway sells the reamers.

and i forgot to mention that they work like a 1.5" drop spindle as well.

Also Bernie, I just had a great idea :D

So you know how some of us are running Swapped motors correct? and you have the 2JZ and 1UZ going on. sooo we slap on the Mk3 Brakes. they're big. then we someday decide to look for Mk.3 Supra Brake upgrades :D ;)
