I think its because everyone is tryin to buy American these days. But what they don't realize is, it doesn't matter with a truck that old or even a 90's. I bought mine from an American family, so I supported an American family.
EXACTLY!!!! People are saying buying imports is being "unpatriotic," but if you were to buy from an import dealership here in the states, you are still paying American workers, and not all imports are made outside of the states... look at the Tacoma and Tundra. Another thing is that not all American cars are American made... Case in point- new Pontiac GTOs and 90's Dodge Stealths.
