    Will it work?

Yea. It does use a different intake. Are you gunna get that too?

A 76 Celica?! I sure could use some body parts off of it.

Either grab a factory 20R intake
    An Offenhauser 20R.
Or some sort of sidedraft setup.

A 20R carb is not the same as a 22R carb. LC sells an adapter to put a 22R carb on a 20R intake. The 22R carb is considered the better one of the two.

From personal experiance...Dont bother with the factory carbs unless you have to, or are completly broke. A weber, or a holley is a bazillion times better power wise. The factory one does nothing but choke it.

You will have to reroute 2 heater hoses. Its no big deal.

The exhaust header *should* work on both a 22R and a 20R. The exhaust ports are the same shape. The intake ports are different shape, hence the need of the 20R intake or aftermarket for a 20R.
