    I am not going to bash..........much :D

To let everyone know, I have Sprint cell service. I started the plan in January and have had nothin but problems. I don't get over 90% of my calls and 50% of my texts. I've gone through 4 differents phones, including one that thier own tech support sent me saying that a refurbished phone works better than a new phone, yet still the same problems. I've been on the phone with Sprint at least once a week trying to resolve the matter. All they can do is keep transfering me or putting me on hold. I'm assuming to see if I will eventually hang up, but I don't. Then 6 months and 4 phones later they tell me that they have "scattered coverage" in my area. If they would've told me that to begin with, I wouldn't have gone through them. Then they tell me they can sell me a $100 device that will help with my coverage at home, only at home cause it hooks up with my internet. So I asked them, "if I leave my house, lose or have to get rid of my internet cause I'm unemployed then I lose my service again?". They said "yes". So I asked them to cancel my service with no penalties or fees to me cause they can't provide me with the service I'm paying for. And they won't do it. I plan on calling them everyday 'til this matter is resolved.

So, just to let everyone out there who has Sprint or is thinking about going with Sprint. Be careful or don't go with 'em.

Thank you if you took the time to read this. I really NEEDED to vent!

call the better business bearuo (SP?)

    seriously.

get a complaint number then call sprint back, tell em nuff also thinks they are a collection of douche bags.

then if they refuse to stop your service, simply stop paying. but also keep a VERY accurate record of your calls/complaints and the solutions offered by them.

then you can go to small claims court (under $5k and FREE!) and get your local judge to put them in their place.

but just calling the BBB worked for me.

    F'ers still say i owe them $125 from 6mo AFTER i closed my accnt 12 F'n years ago.:brickknock:

but they did stop harrassing me and reporting my debt to credit agencys

My bro inlaw works for them, but he is on the I.T. section of things.writes the programing for the towers and communications.
Even he thinks they suck. he has told me some things i can put on the net, but ya, that company has lost direction and is in the ****ter.
And ALL of it is due to how they run the place. there equipment is capable of letting all the cell phones on there network run at full speed, but they insist on throttling them back and limiting ****.
He thinks there idiots for all of it, and is currently job hunting for a new company. only reason he is still there is hes one of the best in his field, and they pay him by throwing buckets of money at him......

must be the area you live in. I have Sprint and here in Texas I have no problems EVER. I never miss or drop a call or text.

I bet its due to towers, equipment and switching between landlines and cell where the calls are processed.

Well, like I said. They said that this area has "scattered coverage". It just would've been nice to know that before hand.

i use verizon cell and alltel internet (i think they are together now, but not sure). i live in a rural area (check the user map), and have never had problems with either the internet or phone service. i've had verizon cell service for 6 years now and have never had a problem, and the internet service for a year. alltel had unlimited gigs for $10 less so we went with them for the internet.

    Update!

After weeks of dealing with Sprint we asked what it would take to cancel our service with them with no fees charged to us. They said that if tech support could prove that we have scattered coverage in our area that the could. Well, tech support said that yes, they have scattered coverage so we got out of our contract with Sprint with no penalties and/or fees to us as long as we take our numbers to another carrier.
