hey males and females, im just another ****in' new guy from the 808 joining the toyota mini foundation. other than that, i have a 1986 toyota pickup sr5 xtra-cab. performed a rebuild close to a year ago and have no regrets since. i came a long way with this truck, so i know how you guys feel when it comes to letting something go you love so much. enough with the ooey-gooey, heres a sample. this is just the begginings, will post present and future later.
Welcome to TM. Nice efi's all polished up, your truck could pass for being in the 671. How do you guys polish them up in the 808, over here you gotta drop them off to a crack head cousin. LOL killer elbow grease, & a hella lot of F this. Before there done
They may have been dipped. Or polished with an electric/air polisher. Whoever does those by hand is a fool. Maybe he had them sent to him. Lets here it.
Or chronic as stated earlier... hahaha! Believe it or not I've seen some that were hand polished that was just amazing!
Ahhh yes! Finally here man! Well everyone is gonna trip the **** out, but these are hand polished. And i guess me and my 2 other friends are toyota chronics! Hahahaha yeah here in hawaii i only heard of people hand polishing them cause don't got money! One of my friend's got his center caps chrome dipped to match his rims! $60 for one center cap!
This is the cap most guys run on Guam, ive seen 2 other types, but not sure what there off. This one is off an older model Mits. Mirage, tried to get the part # for you but the local dealer wasnt any help.
Here's a bigger pic... I have the part number for the caps too, just gotta find where I put it... Last i gathered they want 40 bucks a pop for these caps now @ the stealership... Thank god I still have a brand new set in the safe!
nice rims bro, they have that wet polished look. hook it up with the part number if you do find it. mahalos! from hawaii!
