I found a 93 standard cab 22re 5sp no A/C no P/S base model. This things is a stock truck. Myself and a couple of buddies have a lot of spare items laying around. So I was wondering to by the truck for $1500 and throw some new parts, clean it up really nice and sell it in 30days for $3500. Am I out of my mind. Trying to have some fun again taking a rough truck and make it clean. I also need to find a new home for a lot my my extra parts. So let me know. Good idea or bad and is $3500 a lot of a 93 standard cab with 245xxx miles on it.

Around here with that many miles........I'd say $1500-$2500 depending on body condition.

I bought my truck with 170,xxx miles and brand new engine and clutch for 800 bucks! :D haha so yeah that a good deal :p

Miles are not everything. What really matters is the overall condition and how well it was tooken care of.

im with nvrenufedge, but thats just wat i would be willing to pay for it, i have seen on the local CL trucks with that many miles wanting 3500 for them but then they stay on there for a month then get reposted down to about 2000 and 45 days or so

Good luck getting $3,500 for it. I'd say $2,000 max. Might not be worth your time and effort.

you could get $3500 out of it easy.

make sure theres no leaks on the motor and its stupid clean every where.

slam it, but make it driveable

throw some cheap big wheels on.

real trick is to not get to involved/attached to it. i bought my hilux 2 yrs ago with this same purpose in mind. been driving it instead, now im almost ready to sell it, and im WAY under my budget of $1500 including truck cost.
