Wow, I though my bed was beat up! Mine has holes, but those are only drilled holes (thing came with a POS toolbox and had two holes drilled on the floor of it). Nice engine shot and the turbo's gonna be killer. Some of the other guys on here talked me out of going for a turbo on my 4x4 because turbos need to be moving for the boost. What you planning for the rest of it?

lowering, nice paint, etc, make it a nice cruiser with some ooomph :)

the bed is trash.. might have to get a new one, well atleast the sides. Then make a plywood bedfloor onto a grid made of tube....

Wood would warp, but diamond plate aluminum would be b****en! Whatever though, your truck, your decision. I'm sure she'll look hot when you progress through the build.

Did that loop on your current bed come standard? I've only seen those on JDM Hiluxes, but never any here in the states.

Not if its the right type, they use plywood on trailers here and it works fine, so I'd use the same stuff on the truck bed.

Yeah the loop came as standard, looks like an ass, so I already used a sawzall to cut it off :D

I don't know why, but my dad installed one of those on his Ram 1500; he claims he got it for his ladders, but he almost never has them on it. Not to mention, the thing has piping to hold them on the rack so from the front, his truck looks, how can I say this with a straight face... horny!

    childish humor, I know...:D

    Small update...
I had some time to think what to do for the truck.

I decided to take another route... I'll be building this for drifting.
    Heres what I'll be doing
