Just found this site and I have already found a lot of useful info! Way back in 1980 my dad bought a 1980 toyota 4x4 Blue with silver stripes. When I turned 16 he handed over the keys (late 80s). Well I fell in love with the truck but it wasnt too long before I went straight off a 90 degree corner and totaled the truck. Well ever since then I have been wanting to get another one just like it but it just never did come about until now. So this last spring I saw a 1979 4x4 on craigslist and when I called the guy he said he would go down to 500 bucks. I hooked up the dolly and after a 8 hour drive I finally had it. Now the fun begins!!!!!!!
these are before I started in on her. Rats chewed the wiring. it sat in the woods down in Mississippi for 5 years so its rusted around the top of the cab. the rats also built nests in it and talk about stench. got it all torn out now trying to get all the urine smell out! nasty!!!!!!!
