this little project started out thanksgiving. and now im finally finished. we only had a couple of good days this winter when i was able to work on them. they turned out really well i think. hopefully getting tires in the next 2 weeks. and then on to the suspension. 2" spindles and a 3" block till i can get 3" leafs. going to go salvage yarding on spring break to try to find 4x4 fenders and a 4runner bumper in good shape.
    here the pics...

yeah i think that they will look really good on there. roads around here suck, so i didnt want to run a larger wheel, and i have always wanted these. im going "old school" with the truck. pretty much just clean and classic. got the wheels from jegs. they are the cragar version on baby moons. only about $55 a peice and no shipping charge.

15x8s. i think that i should have got the 7in wide ones, but these will work for the time being. i just cant stand skinny wheels on a truck. they will probably stick out in the front a little till i get 4x4 fenders, after that everything should be good to go.

    this is what jegs.com...

    313 Series Smoothie Chrome Wheel
    Size: 15'' x 8''
    Bolt Circle: 5 x 4-1/2'', 4-3/4''
    Rear Spacing: 4-1/4''

i think they may work. im going to be running a 225/60/15 tire. whats the lowest that i could go static with these size tires and not have a bunch of problems?

appreciate the comments. its been a long time coming on this truck. i think that im finally going to be able to tear into it and get it how i want it.

i'd go with a 225/55 instead.. it'll be jsut a tad smaller than stock and they wont look so balloonish
